Battle of the races

If you are well aware, arguments between different racial backgrounds has been going on and on for centuries, especially in countries where there are a few main races that make up the major society.

If you are still wondering what I am.... let me enlighten with the fact that I'm 3/4 Chinese and 1/4 Malay. My daddy is Chinese (Baba to be exact) and mommy is Chinese+Malay (who was brought up in a very Malay way).

So anyways, I was on skype with my family back home, when my dad and mom had this tiny 'argument' about whether the Chinese being better than Malays.
Ohh but don't get me wrong here. Of course we are not racist! If my parents are, they wouldn't have been married all these while right? hahaha...
It's just that sometimes, when my dad started having his 'sense of pride' --->as what I like to call it, and my mom starts having the need to defend her own race, it gets really funny.... And my brother and I was laughing all along looking at our parents presenting their statements.

Isn't Malaysia a wonderful place? With different ethnicity that makes us unique..
So the next time you pass by someone with a different racial background, please be generous with your smile.

It doesn't matter whether you are dark skinned or pale.
Eat with hands or a pair of chopsticks.
Have slit eyes or big-wide-beautiful eyes.....
We are ONE

If I have superpowers

If I could have a superpower, I would like to have the ability to
teleport myself. Wouldn't it be great to be able to transport myself across space and distance with a snap of a finger. No, I don't even need to snap my finger, just think about the place that I need to go to, and *poof* I'm there.

*sigh* Let's get back to reality Ms Wee.

I was late for class today. Again... hahaha.. I forgot that it's the first day of the month and I had not topup my metro card. When I entered the metro door this morning, there were 2 very long queue at the ticket counter. But it didn't registered in my head that it could be the first day of the month, so I ignored the line. I was panicking because I was already late. When I touch my metro card at the sensor, it showed red. Silly me.

If only I have the power of teleportation, I wouldn't have to go into battle with fast walking Russians in metro stations or get squashed in between tall Russians in the metro or coming into class sweating and panting like mad or ....... OK I should stop watching sci-fi movies now

When a child grows up too fast

I recently meet a girl online. She's a fan of Korean entertainment too. She was talking about how SNSD girls being racist and she said that she hates SNSD. Apparently, some members of SNSD did made a few 'racist' remarks about the Chinese. The girl, whom I meet online is a Bruneian Chinese. So I guess that explains her hatred towards that particular Korean group.

I didn't know the girl's age at first. If I knew it before hand, I wouldn't have engaged her in a conversation. But later on, I found out her age. She is 12 years old!! I was really shocked when she told me her age. I felt disturbed..... Not because I was talking to a kid. Not because she hates SNSD........ But because she's a kid with such negativity.

How could a child who still lives under the safe haven of her parents knows about racism, even discusses openly about it? How could a child her age have been exposed to that kind of negativity? How could a child have such hatred in her heart? And what's more disturbing is that, she might have been exposed to worse negativity. I know the fact that this world that we live in is indeed a cruel world. But for a child to be exposed to that kind of things is just frightening.

I remembered when I was 12, I was still playing around with friends from different racial backgrounds. We played happily together, never even knew the word 'racism'.

It's scary how kids nowadays grows up TOO fast. It makes me wonder. Who's fault could it be?

I just hope we can make the world a better place for children and try to keep them safe from the world's cruelty as long as we possibaly can.

How shallow can a guy be?

I was happily talking to a friend on YM and things turned out very different this time. He's usually very nice to talk to, but today proves that the male species are the same *sigh* I never knew this person could be that shallow.

I was actually asking how is he doing since I haven't spoken to him for quite sometime. And in return, he asked if I'm well. I'm most of the time open with him. So I answered that I'm not just fine, but getting fatter as well but I'm doing some workout lately hahhaha...

But then, he said it was fine....... and suggested that when I have a lot of money in the future I can always get an operation. I think he meant a liposuction.

I was kinda taken aback by that. I don't know if he was joking, so I tested him out by saying that cosmetic surgeries are painful, and why would I wanna put myself through crucial pain just to look better? He simply replied that Japanese artist do operations all the time and they are fine.
*sigh*

Those who are willingly to put themselves at risk and in pain just so that they can look pretty have serious mental problems. They are depressed with how they look and they don't have anything else that can represent who they are, thus they need beauty to define who they are... or better said, 'what' they are.

Most important, Allah prohibit us to change His gifts. He made everyone perfect as how they are. Why change it with surgeries?

He used to tell me that inner beauty is the most important. That was the reason why I kinda like talking to him, thinking he's actually different. But I guess I was wrong....yet again....

Isn't he the cutest mouse you have seen?

Those huge ears, eyes, and nose... something must have gone wrong genetically..hahaha..
He's just so cute ain't he? Even Remy (Ratatouille) can't beat this cutie......

I bet people are wondering why I'm blogging about this right... Let's me clear something up. I do not have a fetish for mice. I just find him cute for a mouse that's all..

A month and nothing

A month has passed
And I'm still not over you
Why are you still in my mind?
Why am I still thinking about you?
You're all happy and fine
I should let it go
Why am I still dwelling inside?
Even I don't know
I should let you go
That's the right thing to do
I should leave you alone
But I don't think I can
Shall I wait for another month?
Or even another year for you to come back?

~I think I should just patiently wait,
it'll come around~

Freakish Dream

I woke up in a daze today. The fact that I woke up REALLY late (urghh.. the headache that comes afterwards due to TOO much sleep hahhaha...) and I was woken up by a very weird dream.

I got married!!
At a really young age!!!

Yeah, I dreamed that I got married at the age of 22..! Me? The person who is well known as a care-free, love-being-single, never-take-unnecessary-orders-from-a-guy kinda girl marries at a young age?? hahaha.. Weird dream..? yeah... And the worse thing was, instead of a wedding ring, I got an ankle bracelet. What was that supposed to mean? Me being tied down by my ankles, as in saying that a man controls me?? Err... No way that's gonna happen.

I just don't understand why some people gets married at a very young age. What if.. OK just what if after a few years he/she realizes that the person they are married to is not a soul mate... Then what? DIVORCE?? hah!! The favorite option for a way out. Congratulations! The title of a divorcee is all yours.

Why suffer all the pain and humiliation when you can avoid it? A thought to ponder on....

Anyways, that dream I had, I think it meant nothing. Just the devil's play (sape suro bangun lambat sgt..hahhaha)
